Well he certainly is a very destructive batsman on his day. What I'm saying is that even if he plays, he's not fit at the moment. Just being injury-free isn't good enough, the guy is fat. As for Raina, he's much more than a brilliant fielder. I rate his technique and strokeplay higher than that of Yuvraj. Sehwag needs to get back in shape. That said, if he plays and score's a century I'll take it ... I just think the guy is severely unfit at the moment.

This discussion is irrelevent. Sehwag sucks at ODI's. Hard.

I'm just waiting for the 'England B couldn't beat India Z so they're going to lose the series 7-0' type nonsense that usually follows warm-up games.
Sour Grapes !!! If Englanz Z had won you would have delared all Indian cricketers as rubbish...Once again.

Good to see you back to your whinning self again though..any English team just has to lose and you are back being yourself..Just for trolls like you, I hope England win ODIs, at least it would keep you quiet for a while....And that is more important than an India win.

i hope so. India should win this game with their new found form in ODIs. But, i still get that feeling that india may make it hard work for themselves. By the way, the first few matches are on weekdays. I get to watch the first innings but not the second. How crap is dat? but i do get to watch all of the last 3 or 4 games -The easter break

The problem with ODI's is that there are too many of them and unfortuantly the ECB want to play more of them. There has even been talk of them playing some games in Dubai, Gilbraltter and Cyprus or something.

Hmm... I would say he's the third most likely batsman after Dravid and Yuvraj.

I think you're being a bit harsh on the players who didn't perform upto standards aginst England. At this stage, if defeat aginst a near second string England side isn't wakeup cal enough, there's some real problems. Hopefuly, it is enough.

Ah I do find it reassuring when someone I have on ignore (such as Sanz) get their flawed ramblings quoted. Makes me feel quite vindicated really.

Cricinfo doesn't have Hoggard in the probable XI ... if that's really the case, Sehwag will be ecstatic. Is this true? No Hoggard?
