What's so special about a warm-up against half of England 'B'?

At the moment, he's out of shape. If England are happy at the sight of Raina, they will get an unpleasant surprise. Yes, I'm saying it: Raina is better than Sehwag, more technically correct and almost as destructive. The important part, now, is the fielding. While Sehwag is slow and sluggish in the field, you can almost count on Raina to take at least one catch, at least one run-out and at least three diving stops in each match.

Calm down mate, Raina may be better in the field than him yea i saw that in Pakistan but i think Sehwag destructive batting is an assest than India just won't just shy away from just because Raina can give then a bit extra in the field. Honestly i didn't think he was out of form England just had superb plans for him which were done executed superbly by Hoggard, his 80 odd not out in Mohali showed he still was in good knick

But this is OD cricket England's bowling is pretty aveage only Freddie & Anderson are good, he will freedom to play his shots, for me i'd be shocked if India didn't play him..

How is Sehwag not a certainty? He is probably second to Dravid i'd say. He is your most destructive batsman, from an England point of view i'd be pleased if Sehwag didn't play at all..

In ODI's, he is FAR from being the second destructive batsman. He is hurting us more than helping. He should be permanantly dropped from the ODI side.

ODI's suck and have no relevance as far as I'm concerned. The sooner we can get this lads back to the UK in one piece and preparing for the home Tests the better, whether that means a 7-0 drubbing or not.

Well he certainly is a very destructive batsman on his day. What I'm saying is that even if he plays, he's not fit at the moment. Just being injury-free isn't good enough, the guy is fat. As for Raina, he's much more than a brilliant fielder. I rate his technique and strokeplay higher than that of Yuvraj. Sehwag needs to get back in shape. That said, if he plays and score's a century I'll take it ... I just think the guy is severely unfit at the moment.

That being said, 7 ODIs is far far too many. Should have been 4 tests and 5 ODIs or something similar.
