I dont thin we should be surprised. The Indian batting has been very poor throughout this series. It would have been a remarkable turn around from what has gone past if they had done better.adharcric said:

Harbhajan has to be the dumbest cricketer since Srinath. Yesterday he said in the interview that he had been bowling well all this time (Pakistan tour etc) and it was just one of those things that he didnt get wickets. It is because of this kind of I-know-all-there-to-know thinking that he will never even approach the great Indian spinners in class.
And if he thinks he is going to win test matches off his own blade he should now be demoted to number eleven.

Oh wow what a brilliant performance, whole team folded for just 100... Great Job.
I'm amazed as to what happened after lunch, it looked like Indians just didn't wanted to fight back and were happy to end their misery at the wkt.

What a series from England, fantastic stuff. Remarkable result. 
Flintoff streets ahead of anyone else for Man of the Series IMO - good batting, fantastic bowling and outstanding captaincy.
An immeasurable number of pluses from this series for England - as far as I'm concerned, the world Test rankings now go:
1. Australia
2=Pakistan
2=England
3. India
And that'll do me fine.
