England bowling at a slow over rate? That might come back to haunt them later on. If I were them, I'd try to hurry it up a little bit.
The last day doesn't finish at a cutoff time.

Has it been poor batting or good bowling this morning or a mixture of both?
It was a tough one to start with. But I think India has a big problem with batsmen plonking there feet down the wicket, much before judging the line, and hiding their bats behind the pad. Every time they move the leg to the off side of the line of the ball, they are sitting ducks for LBW decisions.

In the older days, the umpires invariably gave "doubtful benefits" to such tactics by the batsmen but now things have changed. Thats the problem which has hit most Indian top order batsmen throughout this series and Jaffer, Kumble (and I suppose) Sehwag today.

Sachin was looking a bit more positive as they went in to lunch and if he had continued in that mood, he should have come down the track to Udal with four men around the bat. Trying to defend from the crease with an uncertain lunge was asking for trouble. I still think England did well to get him when they did for he was looking likely to get his troubles out of his head and play more naturally just before the break.

Rahul paid the price for being "overly" cautious". This soesnt mean he should have ben firing away but he was tied down in his head and thats not going to allow you to play freely which you need even to defend a match. He was too tense.

Thank God for brainless idiot sloggers like Dhoni, eh? Stupid, stupid shot. No explanation, no reasoning, no logic - just idiocy. He's got a long, long way to go before he becomes a Test number six.

Sounds like a certain Andrew Flintoff of a couple of years ago...

I knew it, it was clear yesterday that India would struggle on this wkt in the first innings and would lose the match.Sachin Tendulkar remains a big dissapointment, but then we should get use to it, and i think these are Sachin's last days, all i can hope from Sachin is that he end the career by winning the Wc for India (he's still good in shorter format).

Credit must be given to Engalnd, they dominated the test match right from the first day and as such deserve to win the match. Also they have proved me wrong and i have to admit that they have been a competitive side in India, and at present they probably are the second best test team after Australia.

Didn't say he didn't have potential. Just that he is, as it stands, a brainless slogger, and that he has a long way to go. If he learns like Flintoff did, he'll be a phenomenal player.

I think Dhoni's game suit the shorter format of the game more than the longer format of the game.I'm sure he will improve and will become a world class test player in future , but at present he's not suitable to bat a sixth slot.

Gotta love the way the top scorer of the innings by some distance, batting with an injured shoulder, cops criticism.

(yes, all right, he did get out to Udal...)

That about sums it up, yeah.
