Darrell Hair you're an absolute joke on an umpire.... its not that he's just incomptent.. but seriously you got to wonder what that man thinks sometimes. The way those 50-50 calls always seem to go in favour of England while he's umpiring.
no it's just that he is pathetically incompetent....the fact that people like he and asoka desilva and a few others were part of an elite panel of umpires just gives the good members of that group a bad name.....

I wasn't aware that the 'future' (Raina, Sreesanth, Munaf Patel, Yuvraj Singh) dropped any catches. Because that's who replaces VVS and Ganguly.
Hello SilentStirker:

Here you go:

Yuvraj, by contrast, has put down four, three at bat-pad and one at third slip.

Same guy who threw awayhis wicket by chasing a wide one. Let's see tomorrow if Tendulkar can deliver under pressure. No better chance to redeem himself than onhis home ground.

If you are seriously advocating the dropping of Yuvraj Singh in favor of Ganguly or VVS Laxman (and thats who replaced them), then please just say so. Because then we can just end the conversation right there.

with sehwag suffering from back spasms and tendulkar also having a shoulder injury, coupled with yuvis batting, india will be hard pressed to win this final test match.
I see a victory for england by 100-150 runs tommorow.1-1 and shared series.

Unfortunatly, you are probably right. And if that is the case, India need some wholesale changes.

And I think Monty has posed more questions to this Indian line up than Giles would have. I said it before and I will say it again.
Honestly what is with this obsession with Panesar? Not only does he average over 60 in this series, but hes by and large not posed any threat to any of the batsman and has absolutely no variety in his bowling. the only reason he looks remotely decent is because of the fact thats hes got to bowl with Blackwell and Udal both of whom compete with ian salisbury for the worst English test match bowler ever(and i pick Udal). IMO hes only going to go the same way as Dawson did after that last series unless he makes significant improvements.

Yeah Monty still has to develop, and I think Gilo would've been more of a threat to be honest.

Still love watching him bowl though, for aesthetic reasons if nothing else.

If Sachin bats tommorow, which i think he will, i'm predicting he'll score a century and save the game.

He's bowled far better than his average suggests.

Let us not forget that the Indians are quite brilliant players of spin, even if they are out of form.
