Cramp in the wrist sounds painful to be honest for Shah, hopefully he can recover and continue his innings.
With a bit of luck he'll not have a chance to bat till tomorrow anyway.

It makes a change this winter for people to be dropping English players rather than the other way.

Strauss has been dropped about 3-4 times now. :D

The problem though is which 5 do they pick when all are available?

There's now conceivably 8 men, none of whom realistically deserve to be left out!
It's a good problem to have. England's test squad looks deeper after this series.
A. Strauss, M. Trescothick, M. Vaughan*, I. Bell, K. Pietersen, A. Flintoff, G. Jones+, A. Giles, M. Hoggard, S. Harmison, S. Jones
Reserves: A. Cook, O. Shah and/or P. Collingwood, M. Panesar, J. Anderson
At least you won't have an Udal, Prior or Blackwell in there.

haven't been watching much of this but good to see Strauss scoring a hundred here its been a while coming & people having been asking questions about him & good to see Shah scoring runs saw him charing Harbhajan first ball & stuff looks to have improved from when he last played for England down in Australia.

I have been up since 4am watching and am enjoying it very much. A great display from Strauss. Bells did very little again and his dimissial was very soft. Strauss is playing suprbly and even though Pietersen has been under a bit of pressure from Patel he is working his way in.

The bowling hasnt been to great and Dravids decision to field is prooving a huge mistake in his 100th game

The Captain demanded big runs and Strauss is givving him them.

Whats the rule about Shah? Can he come back on any time in the innings?

Yeah I think after the fall of any wicket.
