Why does Harmison have about the same average speed today as Sreesanth? He's supposed to be express isn't he?
I saw him live at the super test and he didnt seem very quick at all. Maybe he's just bowling within himself a bit?

i was not meaning just in cricket in sport generally like when we won the rugby world cup
Half the rugby players died of old age and Wilkinson got a repetitive strain injury from kicking the ball so much:D

I will say without taking anything away from these two (who've done an amazing job for India here. ) that The Taff Express is usually pretty good at clearing up tails. We're missing him here.

And Freddie is flogging himself now. 27 overs and counting. :(

We have two teams in England and India that have struggled to polish off the tail in this match.
I would say it shows the fighting nature of both the teams more than any thing.

Blackwell seems to be doing a bit of an Ian Salisbury and highlighting the gap between county and test cricket..

When is Sachin going to score any runs? After all, they've just dropped Ganguly..

Oh and congratulations to Mr Kumble on an excellent and well-timed fifty. :)

What is it with England and not being able to get leg-spinners out?

He wouldn't have to bowl so much if he gave Blackwell more than three overs in a day. Even Udal got more than that when he was going at five-and-a-halfs in Lahore! Blackie's gone for 28 off 7. Not a great start, but surely in this situation he at least deserves a few more?

Congratulation Kumble on his 4th Test Fifty!!! Very well played.. and now India trail by just 90 runs.. a very valuble partnership..

I remember how Narendra Hirwani at the other end meant Kumble couldnt get his first 100 at the Eden. This wouldn't be a bad match match to get his maiden test century. ;)

No, it wouldn't indeed - and Monty is most definitely a Panesar. :p

(NB - only Pratyush and possibly Jono will get that :D )
