*Official* England in Australia (2 T20 & 7 ODIs)

State Captain
Why are they resting players for the last game of the series ?

Would they be unable to rest when the series is over ?

Any rational reason for this ?

Davies keeping in Australian conditions are so ordinary, I don't know what type of fielder he is but Prior should really be behind the stumps.

Ordinary start so far really, looks like we'll do well to reach 240.

White's been pretty atrocious this series. All well and good saying "well, if he gets set at the end he can smash them and make up for his inability to work the ball adequately" but he's got nowhere near the end.

---

Just don't look really switched on today. Yet more reason not to rest key players against their will...

****s sake heals it's obviously Josh Hazlewood! Pull your finger out!
 I got it instantly when they said last year. That was a good ball to get Kieswetter.

I guess he'll be better on the low and slow subcontinent wickets where he can start lofting the ball. Here he seems to be troubled by the bounce.

Warming to Voges quite quick here. Very nice player to watch bat. Times it well, nice compact technique and footwork and good off his legs.

Voges has always been a great talent, just hasnt really cemented a spot, great partnership though 90 odd off 12 overs.

High interest in this explosive game!

Good to see Voges making the most of his chance. Well played Dussey too. White continues to be a concern IMO.

Prior looking far less suspect when there aren't a set of stumps for him to knock over... great catch.

Jeez we were a million miles from 279 when Dussey and Voges came together. Quality stuff from those two. Will take some getting.
