Super performance guys.. Mamesh was sensational, as was Butler... Kennett, well we all knew what he could do and now lets hope he rips the South Africans a new one..

Can't complain about that start to the tour on a personal note.

Second innings bowling a billiant sign, we may have started slowly, however the CWXI seamers are set to tear it up in SA now, just needed a decent run, which we got.

Excellent start to the tour. We're going to need that strong batting form to continue for the tour. The fast bowlers all bowled very well. Competition for spots in the test XIs will be intense. On a personal note I would have likedd a few more wickets, but to bowl tightly is something I'm happy with. Great stuff from Watt & Kennett.

The 3-day matches are FC. The OD tour opener was not List-A.

Four seamers in South Africa 12

South Africa are expected to unleash a trial by pace against the Cricket Web XI, with 4 seamers included in their squad of 12 for the first Test match. Makhaya Ntini and Shaun Pollock are expected to be joined by Andre Nel, with Dale Steyn a chance to form a four-pronged attack. Nicky Boje has been called to the squad as spin bowling cover.

South Africa 1st Test squad:
GC Smith (c), HH Gibbs, JH Kallis, AG Prince, AB de Villiers, JA Rudolph, MV Boucher, N Boje, SM Pollock, M Ntini, A Nel, DW Steyn.
