I think everyone pretty much said it, a great a game probably the grestest ever test in CW History by far margin. Im so proud of the boys and heart they should to never give up. Its been a brilliant Test Series so far for the boys and the guys have really gone toe to toe with the South African in every match.

Enjoy this win now, but the job is only half done, there is still a Test Series is to be won here lads. Looking for some big performances from the lower middle order and the seam attack in the next couple games, to take our game to the next level to win this Test Series.

Again well done guys and special congrats to Pickup for his madien 10-fer and Thamba for his madien 100.

Worth noting that that was Pickup's maiden Test 10-wicket haul and Thamba Mamesh's maiden Test hundred.

Pickup also took his 200th Test wicket in the first Test.

Sweating over the performance against Northerns, I have to admit. Waiting for it with tense anticipation.

Bowlers warmup in CW XI win
Cricket Web XI vs Easterns - Willowmoore Park

The Cricket Web XI consolidated their confident 3rd Test win over South Africa, beating Easterns by 99 runs. Tom Halsey (4-45) and Kyle Wright (3-38) were the main bowlers in the final innings of the match, and Easterns could only get to 204 in the chase of 304 for victory.

All the CW XI batsmen got starts in a first innings total of 320, before Dave Watt set the game up nicely with a 5-wicket haul. The CW XI then attempted to build upon a lead of 94, but slumped to 37-4 before Chris Butler and Liam Camps rebuild the innings. Butler followed up his first innings 47 with 99 and was the mainstay of an innings of 209 all out.

Easterns set out to chase 304, and reached 175-5 before losing their last 5 wickets for 29 runs.

Nice win guys. Solid performances by everyone there, except myself. I'm expecting to turn my temporary bad form around for the fourth test. :)

A good solid win there, Wright and Halsey really putting their hand up for selection with some good bowling. Pretty much all the batsmen got a score, which is a good sign. Butler continues on his good tour form, just needs to covert it into a Test Match.
