A simply dismal performance by all the bowlers, and our batting wasn't up to the task.

This is a good, good wake up call.

the problem is that alot of the batsmen are getting starts myself included and no one is going on to get a big score.

thats was a big loss especially when the 1st test is 2 days away.

my performance wasnt exactly superb but starts in both inings and 3 - 87 of 30 overs not bad, with the highest score in the second innings,


well of to the nets we go,


how does the skipper feel about this poor tour start!

Only using 5 bowlers is strange, just an over or 2 from others may have been a good idea.

Well it has been a very dissapointing start to the tour, we came over here with high expectations despite being without our 2 most senior bowlers, but we have really let ourselves down.

The batsman are really struggling and the inexperienced bowling attack is finding the international conditions difficult to come to terms with..

We have a couple of days till the 1st test and i expect everyone to be workig hard. I am sure we can win this tour, and this is the perfect opportunity for people to make a name for themselves.

I know we have the ability in this side and if we all put it together on the 1 day i know we can beat any side...

So lets wok hard guys, keep our heads up as it only takes 1 session to turn the tour around.

Understandably disappointed at missing selection.

Never really expected to be on the Tour in the first place, but now I'm on it, I wish I'd been used in my successful position rather than being zigzagged around and left to shepherd the tail.

marc you can't expect to bat where you want to bat when just about every batsman in the CWXI has outperformed you (which is why their mainstay's). Your time will come. But until then you can't expect to get preference over people who have performed at the international level. Juts look at Bevan... when he first started playing he was used to sheppard the tail, and in a way he still is today.

On a personal note I am bitterly disappointed at being out injured for the 1st test. I just hope bugs, eyes and PY really step up. Especially bugs and PY who are playing as specialist batsmen.
