Very disappointed in the seeming lack of interest in the warmup matches so far. Hopefully that will change when the Cup starts.

Please note that there will not be any live sim of the opening match as not enough people will be available to make it worth the time.

Sorry, I've been away for a while. Although all I appear to have missed is me having an absolute shocker for a couple of games.

Apologies guys. :(

Delighted with the start for the team though. Wicked aiiiiiiiiiiiii.

Well given the fact that you're the only 'keeper in the squad, I guess we're stuck with you anyway. :)

I have complete confidence in your wicket-keeping ability. My first wicket in cricket was thanks to a PY catch and I am sure that we'll be able to see some repeats of Brigg 1999 in the West Indies 2004.

Think I'll design a CWXI One Day Shirt...

Guys, this is it.. The biggest couple of weeks of our cricketing lives are about to arrive. The side has shown its ready, however we need to stay focused, our TEAM goal is to win the World Cup, There is no room for personal glory here, We start off with the Windies, They have been in good form, winning both warmup games comfortably. Thier bowlers look to be in a ryhthm but i see there possible weakness as their batting. In both warmup games they have only needed 4 batsman at most...
If we can get a couple of quick wickets we can possibly expose a lack of match practice. Our Bowlers have been in rip roaring form and we will need them to be up to the task again. Batting we must be smart and sensible, build partnerships, and work with each other to get through the hard times...
This game is "CRUCIAL", we win this we are pretty much on our way to topping the group. Lets start on a high and never look back...

CW XI Forever!!!!
