I'd kinda like to see teams successfully defend totals once in a while, though. This might be my favourite game of the tournament so far.
Even then the commentators wanted him to take the single, which is beyond stupid and really shows how backwards traditional cricket thinking is on thisSpark and I'm agenda is more that players refuse to do this sort of stuff until the very next over. If this was the 19th over he would have taken the single and it would have been dumb! @Spark
The Young Gun! Immense talentJFM man of the match
I dunno, just seeing those thigh high full-tosses go unpunished bugs me. They end up often very difficult to put away and I think if you miss your Yorker by so much that it's thigh high, I dont really care if you get punished. Different from spinners obviouslyWhy?
Everyone is so scared of being called selfish, or advocating for something that could be called selfish, that they end up doing something far more selfish!Even then the commentators wanted him to take the single, which is beyond stupid and really shows how backwards traditional cricket thinking is on this
#punish Thakur for thisI dunno, just seeing those thigh high full-tosses go unpunished bugs me. They end up often very difficult to put away and I think if you miss your Yorker by so much that it's thigh high, I dont really care if you get punished. Different from spinners obviously
They could be ruing that Coffs Harbour washout. I'd thought the Sixers were favourites for that and if the match happened and they'd won, Brisbane would now be sixth (due to their crappy net run rate) and the Renegades fourth. Instead the split point keeps Brisbane fourth. The sort of come back which could propel the Renegades into a sixth place finish
