They used to play out the back of Rooty Hill RSL and call that Blacktown. Not for years now though.

I think they are worthy winners. Been really good the bits i've seen of it. Don't like the fact that major T20 competitions are on at the same time.

Isn't this a good thing as far as T20 franchises are concerned, meaning the window is opened up for international cricket?

Drop T20Is outside World Cups/warm-ups and make internationals in that format akin to Olympic basketball, establish meaningful windows for domestic T20s, keep ODIs, prioritise Tests, and wahey the game is in rude health.

Hmmm, probably a bit different. Individual sport, DP World and PGA/TGL play happily together, and there's no domestic v international arm-wrestle being waged. But absolutely it does go against his point.

should've been more clear - the contract is between the player and the team/franchise, not the league. Therefore individual sports don't have the same issue.
