The whole scorchers pace bowling lineup is ridiculous really. Full of ex internationals.Behrendorff is so ridiculously good in this competition.
Has done a lot of work with McCullum on his keeping who is a big fan although his batting hasn't kicked on as hoped.I don't like judging keepers off T20s, but everything Seifert has done has been really impressive. Maybe he loses concentration in longer form and drops a ton of catches, I don't know, but he looks such a good technical keeper.
Seven of those ten are test innings though. He wasn't in too bad form before that. I think he could probably use a month or more off to let his body mend itself.Well, in Marsh's last 10 innings covering Shield, Test and BBL he has 88 runs @ 8.80 so I'm thinking he's fried in all formats
There has been many a worse Test match attack rolled out over the years. At least, if we don't need them to back up for a second gameThe whole scorchers pace bowling lineup is ridiculous really. Full of ex internationals.
Probably needs a mental reset too - his confidence must be non-existent after the last monthSeven of those ten are test innings though. He wasn't in too bad form before that. I think he could probably use a month or more off to let his body mend itself.
There was a period, before he had the really bad run of injuries that forced him out of FC cricket, where I was a bit miffed he wasn't being picked ahead of Starc in tests, or the didn't even seem to be in contention. Also that time where Paris, who was not as good as he is now, was inexplicably selected for ODIs over him.In another, probably fairer world as far as his body is concerned, he plays a lot of cricket for Australia - in all formats
Argument he's better than Morris, but the Morris is a PONI. Tye's also not the same force in this comp he was even two years ago. Must say I've long hated watched his bowling.Tye not good enough for the scorchers these days? Embarrassment of riches for them.
Yeah he must be nearing 40 these days. Even at his peak he was a trick bowler rather than a really quick bowler.Argument he's better than Morris, but the Morris is a PONI. Tye's also not the same force in this comp he was even two years ago. Must say I've long hated watched his bowling.
Tye to me represented what I really disliked about the Scorchers during those Langer years where they kept winning by scraping to 125 and defending them with slower ball merchants - it was incredibly effective but it was pretty much unwatchable as far as a T20 strategy goes.Argument he's better than Morris, but the Morris is a PONI. I don't think he's out of form, it's just a reversion to average.Mitch Marsh. hes so out of form
