I don't like judging keepers off T20s, but everything Seifert has done has been really impressive. Maybe he loses concentration in longer form and drops a ton of catches, I don't know, but he looks such a good technical keeper.
Has done a lot of work with McCullum on his keeping who is a big fan although his batting hasn't kicked on as hoped.

In another, probably fairer world as far as his body is concerned, he plays a lot of cricket for Australia - in all formats
There was a period, before he had the really bad run of injuries that forced him out of FC cricket, where I was a bit miffed he wasn't being picked ahead of Starc in tests, or the didn't even seem to be in contention. Also that time where Paris, who was not as good as he is now, was inexplicably selected for ODIs over him.

Argument he's better than Morris, but the Morris is a PONI. Tye's also not the same force in this comp he was even two years ago. Must say I've long hated watched his bowling.
Yeah he must be nearing 40 these days. Even at his peak he was a trick bowler rather than a really quick bowler.

Tye to me represented what I really disliked about the Scorchers during those Langer years where they kept winning by scraping to 125 and defending them with slower ball merchants - it was incredibly effective but it was pretty much unwatchable as far as a T20 strategy goes.

Then I was there for that game where he very obviously deliberately bowled three feet over Vince's head to deny him a ton. Never booed so loudly at a game in my life.
