Although he did have a really good BBL series a few years ago.

That said, his one Shield game this year he scored 150 & 50. Maybe leaving NSW was what the doctor ordered.
Its crazy to think how many generational talents we've missed out on or just not seen the best of because their muppets/surrounded by muppets. Shaw is a great example for india, but even somoene like mcgurk smashed the fastest list-A hundred ever, had a breakout BBL campaign and one of the all time great IPL campaigns after he moved to SA and started treating training with more respect for 12 months. Sangha by all reports was a similiar case; surrounded by ****wits when he was at NSW.

JFM is just a rank slogger

Looks great when it comes off but that’s only about 10% of the time with how he plays

He's not just a rank slogger at his best though. His breakout bbl season and early IPL season showed he's more than capable of making 50(30) om trickier decks. The issue is he's gotten in his own head and tried to score at a 200+ Sr 90% of the time on pitches that's not suited to.

Reckon Warner just called Duckett "Bilbo"

Also Green's action is ****ing diabolical tonight. Worse than i've seen it in a while. The leg-break that got Stoinis was a shot put

Sangha with a "bicep strain". Looks like a flare up of chronic tendonitis judging by his reactions. Not the worst injury to have as a batsman but sucks trying to throw or bowl with, and can have a long recovery.

That billings clip looks like something straight out of the European cricket league. Bloke completes a run but grounds his bat 5 yards from the crease line, overthrow for two, then noene appeals the run out. The BBL truly keeps on giving.

Looking at the footage of the incident yesterday, Stoinis did eventually appeal, but rather than simply refer it the umpire asked Stoinis if he wanted to, and incredibly he said not to bother.

Stoinis definitely proving himself to not be sharpest knife in the drawer, and it's amazing he's captain. But I think considerable blame attaches to the umpire, who abrogated their own decision making responsibility. The footage show that they were watching, which means they should have been able to see that it was close. However rather than referring it after the appeal to ensure the correct decision was made, they put the pressure back on Stoinis at a time when he might have wanted to move on and not hold things up.

Also Jono Merlo - did not bowl, batted seven and scored 3 off 8. Is there money going under the table for him to be picked?
Same thing in Shield and Marsh Cup. Problem is he dominating Grade and making 2nd XI runs so they keep picking him. It's tough but maybe they just need to give him a rest and try someone else
