Combination of all 3.I see Bangers are 53/0. Poor bowling, good batting, nothing in the wicket or a combination?
Say what you like, if our bowlers are like this against Bangladesh - What on earth is going to happen when tyhe face strong batting line ups in similar conditions. This isn't that dissimilar from the starts Bangladesh got both innings last match tbh - Tamim batting very well. Both times Shadman looked decent too and then gave it away around now, once he had a start. First test might've looked quite different if he hadn't done that and provided support to Tamim.
And just as I type that!
My comment wasn't at you in particular, but to answer, let's wait and worry about that when we actually play one of those teams.Say what you like, if our bowlers are like this against Bangladesh - What on earth is going to happen when he face strong batting line ups in similar conditions.
Where are the wickets going to come from?
Boult was frustrated with the landing crease and bowling all over the place. Didn't see much of Southee but he was better and got the odd bowl to move. Henry and CdG were definitely a lot better with their lines and lengths.Didn't catch the opening spells from Southee and Boult. De Grandhomme looks more likely than Henry who hasn't hit the right length.
Painful to watch.Nigel Llong seems extremely shaky on what should be two very simple third umpire over-rules.
He's never inspired confidence in this test series and has been a part of the reason Bangladesh have lost a flurry of wickets each time the opening pair has been broken. Mominul too, though he at least has a good record behind him.Almost as difficult as the way Mithun played the last ball before lunch. Horrendous batting.
