Here's hoping for a better effort from the Bangladesh batsman in easier conditions this time around.

not sure about the professional bit. especially the way in which hes talked about boje and hooper in the past.a massive zebra said:Boycott is superbly professional.
might have something to do with the coke there.a massive zebra said:Reeve is totally biased, knows practically nothing about the history of the game while presuming that the viewer knows even less, and commentates like a working class council estate low life with all the enthusiasm in the world but no knowledge of the game whatsoever.
RGD sends you to sleep?superkingdave said:yup his voice sends me to sleep, just like Bob Willis
All 3 off edges it might be added.andyc said:out for three, though.
wow ahmed strikes 3 consecutive fours off flintoff
What would be gained by Flintoff hammering this around?Swervy said:I am pretty disappointed by the declaration to be honest...I wanted to see Flintoff get stuck in..the kids in the crowd were calling for Flintoff...
So you wouldn't do the same?superkingdave said:blummin Vaughan, putting his personal plans ahead of the spectators
its what us humans call 'entertainment'.....Richard said:What would be gained by Flintoff hammering this around?
No,whilst you might not enjoy seeing the Bangladesh bowlers smashed all over the park, the kids watching (a large part of the crowd) did and wanted to see Flintoff. The weather is set fair for the next 3 days, the ECB has sold tickets for the next 2 days and if they want to get people to come to these substandard matches in future they need the team to put on a show to make up for the cr*pness of the opposition, England didn't even come out and give it a blast after tea.Richard said:So you wouldn't do the same?
How can anyone find such a total mismatch remotely entertaining?tooextracool said:its what us humans call 'entertainment'.....
Hopefully these matches might be a thing of the past before too long so we won't have to worry about getting people to come to them...superkingdave said:No,whilst you might not enjoy seeing the Bangladesh bowlers smashed all over the park, the kids watching (a large part of the crowd) did and wanted to see Flintoff. And Vaughan has an inherant responsibility to keep everyone in the crowd as happy as possible?superkingdave said:all people are not like you Richard, especially the schoolkids that were there.
yeah, but while the ICC says they have to play them, the ECB has to make the best of themRichard said:Hopefully these matches might be a thing of the past before too long so we won't have to worry about getting people to come to them...
as a proffesional sportsman, his job is to entertain the people that pay his wages.Richard said:And Vaughan has an inherant responsibility to keep everyone in the crowd as happy as possible.
