BARNES OUT
Next time I'll slip in a "Fuller isn't a worthless ****" to complete it.
WA have played all their shield games at the WACA thus far, why don't you see what opposition bowlers have averaged there, because I'm pretty sure it'll be just as worse. Heal will come in for Magoffin next game, due to it being at the SCG. Ervine, who shouldn't be getting a game, will play as the 3rd seamer. Gillies>Ervine IMO.brockley said:WA will be looking for 3 new bowlers for their next game.
Bedmonsen averaged over 60,macgoffin 90 and dorey a 100.
3 games is enough too determine that your bowlers are ****.
For me macdonald, innes and andrew james for the next game.
Hate Clarke and Watson, tbh.dontcloseyoureyes said:I'm almost 100% sure of this side being picked, even though it goes against everything I stand for:
Hayden
Langer
Ponting
Martyn
Hussey
Clarke
Gilchrist
Warne
Lee
Clark
McGrath
For the love of God I hate Michael Clarke, please pick Watson.
Dorey is easy pickings when the pitch isn't doing anything, and this WACA pitch certainly isn't. If WA's home ground was the GABBA, they'd be 3 from 3 so far.FaaipDeOiad said:The WA bowling attack is an absolute embarassment. Not sure when Dorey forgot how to bowl, but they've got nothing now. When Magoffin looks good compared to the rest of your attack, you've got problems.
Because Hussey had batted lower-order positions in some ODD games and shown his worth there. Jaques, however, is a pure opener.Hoggy31 said:Hate Clarke and Watson, tbh.
Did I mention Hopes>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Watson?
Anyway, why can't Jaques bat at number 6 until one of the openers retires, Hussey is proof that it could work.
Jaques started his career as middle order batsmen just like Hussey...Josh said:Because Hussey had batted lower-order positions in some ODD games and shown his worth there. Jaques, however, is a pure opener.
Didn't know that.chaminda_00 said:Jaques started his career as middle order batsmen just like Hussey...
No; god forbid he make another double-hundred for his country... but still won't get picked.Alysum said:The only shock change that could happen would be at #4 (Hodge) but please no....
I was never a huge fan of Hodge, but I liked what I saw of him in the few tests he played. Should be ahead of Clarke IMO.andyc said:Would love to see Hodge in at number 4 tbh, but it's not going to happen
That's the side I think the selectors will choose. The choice between the quicks is a mini Giles-Panesar mentality dilemma for Australia I think. Clark is starting to win me around a bit but I would prefer they take the punt and let Johnson loose in the first test and if he does get smacked around fall back on the known quantity of MacGill if he is fit or the "reliable" line and length of Clark in the next test.Matt79 said:Prediction:

I've posted like 20 times since I said that, as a joke, and done it like twice. How about you **** off following me around with that stupid ****.Clapo said:you given up on ending your posts with Watson?
Yeah, pretty muchNnanden said:I reckon they`ll pick Johnson. Must be the only person who doesn`t think picking Symonds is a bad choice. Wouldn`t pick him in the First XI, but I`d have him up there as a reserve.
I`ve noticed you`ve stopped puting 'Watson' at the end of your posts.dontcloseyoureyes said:I've posted like 20 times since I said that, as a joke, and done it like twice. How about you **** off following me around with that stupid ****.
Fielding reserve...Andrew "Gary Pratt" SymondsNnanden said:I reckon they`ll pick Johnson. Must be the only person who doesn`t think picking Symonds is a bad choice. Wouldn`t pick him in the First XI, but I`d have him up there as a reserve.
