So gutted that Mosies couldn't get a 50 and carry the Blues to first innings points. The pitch looks like it turning a bit. Hopefully Casson can make the most of it and take some quick wickets, to give us a chance at outright. Usman looks decent as well, hopefully he does well as List A opener.

Yay for Usman! What's with Dougie only bowling three overs?

Cameron was bowling better and they wanted to bring Casson on early after the Vics spinners performance. Probably should have been brought back on latter, but Thornley took a wicket, so you can't complain.

Well you can, but whether you should is another story.

Bollinger is injured... went off the field early into Vics 2nd innings.

Hussey is set to return to Sydney and bat tomorrow for the Vics. We're still a chance to win this if we can say get 250 by lunch tomorrow and let Mcgain take aim at NSW tomorrow to push his claims of national selection.

FFS I know QLD were chasing the double bonus points, but 111 off 17,5 overs looks shocking when chasing 242 in 50!
I broke my Qld ban and went to the first half of this game. With Qld nowadays, you know they'll fold like a cheap tent, therefore you don't feel like you might be deprived if you leave at the innings break.

FFS it's like a game of basketball.

NSW have been fantastic for Australian Cricket this year.

Khawaja, Forrest, Hughes, Smith, Henriques are all 21 and younger.

Fantastic work by NSW for showing the confidence in the younger guys.

Yep, so happy we've given them all a chance. We've found the right mix between older guys and younger guys. Teams like WA are doing a good job of it too (in their batting anyway) but teams such as QLD are really lagging behind. They need to produce some young talent and fast.

Going to be a cracker of a Pura Cup final between NSW and Vic. Two bowling attacks in good form, experience vs the younger blokes for NSW, etc. Has all the makings of a classic, like the match currently being played.

Some would argue we took too long to bring Forrest, Khawaja and Henriques into the side. Many felt that Henriques and Forrest should have been given a regular run two years ago.

Disappointing that Khawaja didn't get a start ahead of Dan Smith in the FR Cup match, especially as Haddin back with the gloves.

It's a shame really that now Henriques finally gets picked he does his hammy and is out again.

Unfortunately, NSW will be severely weakened by the absence of Bollinger, who's been ruled out of the rest of the season with a suspected right foot. Henriques has also suffered a hamstring injury.

Binger will probably be there for the final though. Doubt the Pakistan tour will go ahead.

Shouldn't be. Isn't the final in mid-March? IPL doesn't start 'til April 18.
I don't know, I thought it started at end of Duleep Trophy in India, which finishes before that. Mind you they probably did schedule at the end of Australian, NZ and South African summer. As their about a two week window before Country cricket starts.

Would be mad to have bowling attack of Lee, Bracken, Clark, MacGill and Smith. Plus Clarke back with that bat and bowl I guess. Vics would have no chance.
