MacGill in the International One-Dayers = runs, runs and more runs.
& wickets, but i still wont have him in the OD team for the WC, especially with the fact that their is a possibility that Warne will be back, Hogg is still bowling well & can add more to the team that MacGill with the bat & in the field & Cullen with his off-spinners would also be option if he gets a chance.

Just came back from NSW V Vic (ING) in Coffs Harbour. MacGill I think must at least be considered for national selection after his spell of 5/10 (or thereabouts) today.
concedes to many runs and apart from today has copped a caning.

If Warne doesn't come back I'd take MacGill over Brad Hogg's supposed allround ability and Cullen's inexperience.

Qld back on track...about time!

Martin Love chimed in with a well overdue century and Hartley continues to impress with his excellent keeping and improving batting. Qld should get the outright here, although any side with Langer in it has a chance, however slim.

Lehmann continues to defy age with yet another century, Cosgrove with a good score too.

No Cullen. Is he injured or dropped?

Him and Blewett were both injured, I believe.

Ok. Blewett's days have to be numbered don't they? Can't remember when his last century was. Has he got one this millenium?

WA vs QLD

Big 70-run last partnership for QLD, Kasper not-out. And now WA in trouble, Langer run-out but not before he made his 50.

Dead game sort of. Jaques carving it up though which is always good. MacGilla carted with 0/143 off 27.

SA vs TAS

Lehmann scores 180, and Cleary makes a quick hundred. Bailey a young leggie is apparently bowling extremely well, which is very good news.

Always expected against Victoria. The Victorian team don't rate MacGill one iota. So he'll either get slammed or take a bag, generally gets slammed because we've figured out how to play him.

Won't forget White hitting MacGill into the top tier at the SCG... might have been last season or the season before. Was watching on TV at the time. Such a pure hit. Words were exchanged lol

Cosgrove continuing to impress, Tait is getting his groove back and Dizzy seems to be improving game after game. Hopefully they both will be back in the team very soon.

Watson returns from injury
January 19, 2006

AUSTRALIA all rounder Shane Watson will make his long-awaited comeback from a shoulder injury in Brisbane grade cricket this weekend.
Watson is expected to play for club side Redlands on Saturday after spending almost three months on the sidelines.
It's the first step in the 24-year-old's campaign to reclaim the Australia spot he lost after dislocating his shoulder during the first Test against the West Indies in November.
He is expected to play as an all rounder, rather than a specialist batsman, during the match.
If Watson emerges unscathed he is likely to be rushed into Queensland's squad for next Wednesday's ING Cup clash against Victoria at the Gabba.
