Don`t forget Cleary and Lehmann! Lehmann`s been on fire this season, and that`s just with the ball.

Symonds replaced Watson in the WC 2003 squad if I remember correctly right? That of course wielded different results :p

Can't find an online version of the article, but in this morning's The Age (published in Melbourne), the NSW coach rates Victoria as the "team to beat". Probably because Victoria isn't going to have players disappear off to the international matches, so it's a settled lineup with only Warney to slot in somewhere.

But I guess the same could be said for South Australia, also.

I'm guessing, too, that the players chosen for the Tour of South Africa won't be available around Pura Cup Final time either, which will throw another spanner in the works for QLD and NSW...

And did a better job than Watson could have ever done... with the ball at least.
As if. Harvey was pathetic in all departments. How he got the tag as a 'closer' is beyond me, he must have had more sixes hit off him in the last 10 overs than any other bowler in ODI history.

You're kidding. One of the best ODI bowlers. Of the last decade anyway.

Yes his batting was deplaurable most of the time but he was our second-highest leading wicket taker (or was he highest) in the World Cup.

Then the Vics are likely to lose Hodge, as well.

Watson Picked For Queensland

QUEENSLAND and Australia all rounder Shane Watson will return from injury when the Bulls play Victoria in an ING Cup match at the Gabba on Wednesday.

Watson, 24, was named today to play for the Bulls as a batsman after spending more than two months on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury sustained in the first Test of the summer against West Indies.
Test opener Matthew Hayden is also set to return to the side after recovering from a chest infection.
Watson's domestic comeback boosts his chance of being selected for the Test and one-day squads for the coming tour of South Africa.
Bulls selectors will finalise a 12-man team later today.
