Fantastic to see Martyn scoring runs, hope he continues & gets back into the Australian test side sooooooooon.

For all those who saw these games how did Dizzy, Cullen & Ferguson look?
Dizzy - crap, but he put in and kept tiring
Cullen - very good
Ferguson - very good

But Jaques looked absoluety awsome before he got out.

hmm didn't McKenzie go over the SA this season, i would think he would be a good option as Dizzy's replacement & how come Higgs isn't playing?

Higgs is rated a OD specialist (if that) these days and im not sure why their not playing McKenzie i guess he was in the initial squad that went to NSW.

EDIT: Bailey the young leggie is infront of MacKenize as the next in line to the SA bowling attack behind Rofe, Clearly, Dizzy and Cullen.

SA needed Gillespie for this match...Katich looks like he's going to get a hundred, would be well deserved too, IMO.

Ton for Katich, and Clarke's closing in on a 50 as well. With no Tait and no Gillespie, things aren't looking good for SA, especially with Thornley and Haddin to come, and a bowling attack including three of Australia's likely starting team in the Gabba test.

Katich and Clarke still together,. both past 100 now.

the good news for SA is that Blewett is playing so they have a chance to score some runs. Boof is in solid form too.

They'll have to wait for tomorrow, if they get a bat at all that is :p

Great to see my man Katich scoring runs. I'm very proud of him at the moment :)

The pain of being South Australian continues......

Might have to start claiming I was born elsewhere! :p

Hopefully this will turn out to be a draw, but knowing the SA batting capabilities.....All out 29, anyone?

Bloody hell, South Australia's top 4 looks like Dad's army. Would have liked to have seen Tom Plant get first crack at the opening spot. Deitz is like 31.

Or, as I said, Ben Cameron....

I think they both should have played. Plant opening, Cameron at #3, Blewett #4, Lehmann #5, Ferguson #6 and Borgas left out.

Yeah, I thought the whole idea of having Elliot, Blewett and Boof in the same line-up, was to surround them with youngsters - not Deitz. I mean, Deitz is 30; averages 30; and has had a good crack at it (38 matches)

Did you accidently add a 0 there? A bit optimistic of you to think he can get ALL the wickets. :p

I didn't really see the point in getting Elliot. I mean, with Lehmann, Blewett and Deitz, you have experience there. With Gillespie back, the bowling should have been strengthened somewhat, but Brett Lee had to knock the wind outta him.....

The point in getting Elliott was to win more games. Elliott is a good batsman; Deitz's spot is the one under threat IMO, along with Bogras.
