Wow, I'll eat my words on this one - now it looks like Sri Lanka are going to have to battle just to save this game.

Great turnaround by the Aussies.

From what I've heard, he was shocked and thought that Hohns was one of his mates playing a joke on him!

haha, his dad was aparently just as shocked - he told him that he would have gone with bichel had he been a selector

Australia have got to really stat pushing on now...try get a lead of 350 i reckon..and leave SL say 30mins tonight to bat

Well done to Marto and Lehmann......suddenly the pressure is on Sri Lanka.
The Tait thing came from left field eh? perhjaps if Kasper's shoulder doesn't come up, they should send McGrath as well - he could mentor young Tait as well as add some pschycological pressure.......

Good plan, but there are only 20 overs left in the day - I don't know if we will see Sri Lanka bat today, unless Ponting thinks 300 is enough.
I think 330 minimum........and I doubt they will get enough tonight, unless some real wallop comes on......

Murali has bowled nearly 50 overs! :O

well if they score 70 in say 12 overs..get a lead of 350...send SL in for say 5 overs...and get Warne opening the bowling will Gillespie.

what did you expect
Well, I guess I expected him to do a lot of bowling, but he has bowled a third of the overs.....he certainly has great stamina, no doubt.
Australia have certainly played him differently in this innings, much more circumspect........

well he has declared now....i thought 350 would be the magic target he was going for...how many overs do they have left now...two maybe

Delcared at 512/8 with a 351 run lead to the aussies....not bad. Now we will se if Warne can take another bag and get to 500 first.
