**Official** Australia in Sri Lanka

Eclipse

International Debutant
It's been a good days play for oz so far.

If they can bat out the next session and lose only 1 wicket at the most then the game will be back on even terms.

Or though with Kaspa not able to bowl that helps Sri Lanka a bit.

if australia can get them out in the next 50 or 60 runs..they have a chance,as long as the batsman buckle down and get to a great start, which they are capable of doing...you never know...Sri lanka chasing 150 to win on the last day, could go either way
things going pretty much the way i was hoping....in fact maybe Australia can get up to a lead of 250...surely Australia would have to ve faves then

that's what everyone said at the beggining of the VB series and by the end of it he was smashing 4's all around the park every time he came out to bat!
But that series was played in Australia and was limited overs. Big difference...

Slow, dry as a bone. Unless it less then 50 or an easy target, all 4th innings total can be tough to chase, so I think 250-300 would be aim, but more the better obviously.

maybe he is gay...and there would be nothing wrong with that either...maybe in your eyes a good insult would be that Gilly is gay too:rolleyes:

Warne is back. 5 wicket bag. Not bad for his first test back.

And Hayden getting another century!
BUt obviously, there is more to be done for this Aussie team to win it and hopefully there will be no collapse early tomorrow.

How about we try not sounding and acting like a seven year old next time?

How long will it take for people to realise that homosexuality isn't an insult. If someone typed "i am black" there instead of "i am gay" think of the outrage.

Grow up.

I read in Steve Waugh's 2001 Ashes Dairy, that Langer rated his own bowling.
Yeah, I remember that. I wonder who he fancies himself against...?

During the Sydney Test this year, the commentators were discussing who the Aussies should bring onto bowl. Someone said 'How about Hayden or Langer or somebody like that', and Ian Healy replied with 'No. Justin Langer cannot bowl.'

I hope Hayden's century today have convinced the doubters that he is more than a flat track bully.
How good did he play out of interest - stuck at work, so cannot tell.

Was it a usual Hayden knock?

Batsmen: R B 4s 6s S/R
ML Hayden 106 174 10 2 60.92

Doesn't seem typical and he had a letoff early in his innings, adjudged not out on an LBW. All things considered though, this has to be one of his toughest centuries.

Great fightback by the Aussies .... just goes to show why they are the best in the world !!!

Great century by Hayden but Chandana's was better !
