***Official Australia in South Africa***

Wow, not hard to see why Telemachus has done well with the bat in Twenty20 matches. All over now though.

Sort of a case of exciting game, but poorly played by both teams.

I swear, Graeme Smith acts so much like an Australian, only a little worse. He'll drive home the "all we needed was one partnership in the top five partnerships and we would have won". Is that true? Yep. Did they do it? Nope. It's such an Australian attitude to say "oh we could've played better." He's such a terrible sledger as well, only he looks silly doing it.

Anyway South Africa sort of choked. At 1-40 they were really in control. They had some bad luck losing Gibbs, and you can't blame them for that. But the game turned around so rapidly shortly after they had the game won.

Australia weren't much better either, scoring at four an over at periods where they could've pushed on. With five overs left, they could've been 5-230, insted they were 3-210. When it came time to hit out, they were just wasting wickets trying to get runs. It's what your meant to do, but they did it oo late.

If the series goes 2-2 the pressures going to be on. I personally think South Africa are the better team when McGrath and Symonds aren't in the team. We'll see what Ponting can do now he's back.

Anyone else want to shoot that stupid blue mascot thing, or is it just me ??

Lol. That made me laugh. I was watching a game with a cousin a while back with him on camera and we just started laughing at how stupid he looks. You'd think advertisers would understand that to advertise something, you need to take attention away from his face. After I saw him five minutes I wonder what he's advertising... yet I'll always forget when I see him.

Sort of a stupid thing that makes you laugh but you also wanna punch it out. Sick Andre Nel on him!

Well other than that late ignorance overall a good performance with the bat & ball for Australia. These final 2 games are going to be be crackers, when Symonds returns for Australia. I'm backing my boys to sneak out in the end & win 3-2.

Finally i don't know how Lee has become so poor at the death since 2005 NZ tour his bowling at the death has been abysmal, without McGrath that is the only real weakness in australia's superb OD team..

I wonder who Australia will drop when Symonds is fit. Watson has the best average out of all the Australian bowlers this series and 4th on the batting averages to boot. Hogg has looked very ordinary on this tour, but he does provide the spin option. In saying that though, Clarke bowled before him in the last match, and Symonds who would be replacing him bowls spin as well. Dropping Martyn is another option but you dont really need THAT many bowling options.
