Gibbs didn't fancy the battle out there I'm afraid. Even those one eyed cheerleaders in the commentry box where saying so. When the pressure is on Hershelle needs to grow a set and show a bit of fight.

Maybe SA should drop him down the order to 4 or 5 so that Kallis and Prince/Rudolph can build the SA total and then Gibbs can go out and play his free flowing game. If a wicket falls early Gibbs isn't reliable enough to build a total and that is why SA are 2 down without many runs on the board.

Well then I hope you never select a side. It`s called a lapse in form. Most humans have one.
The guy has only played 15 tests !!!
At this rate he will be in a slump for 50% of his career. Sounds more like a case of not good enough yet than a form slump. Reminds me of michael clarke situation, and I think he could do with a spell and boeta should come in.

Wow. South Africa notch up 40 odd runs in 10 overs, big contrast to the Aussie innings. To anyone watching, was it just loose bowling, or is it becoming easier to bat? Strange decision to bring on Warnie before Clark though.

Australia had very attacking fields with lots of gaps. And Warne only bowled the last over before tea. I'm sure Clark will be on soon.

EDIT: I can't watch it on TV...:(
12.3 Lee to de Villiers, 2 runs, excellent delivery outside off stump swings in, de Villiers drives, hits the pad in line, loud shout, given not out, Bucknor has not signalled leg byes, may be there was an inside edge.

Bat got nowhere near ball and was absolutly plumb and everyone out there knew it, except bucknor. Lee has gone mental now, totally lost his composure. He is absolutly furious at the decision not being given.

Cricket's an unfair game - Lee should have at least 4 wickets, he's got 1 and is going at 6 an over.

Seriously Lee is bowling is out of this world at the moment. He has Kallis in all sorts of trouble two edges through slips in that over then the catch from the no ball.

It has a way of balancing itself out but Lee would not be too pleased having already been given out caught behind while batting when he got nowhere near the ball.

Another tight LBW appeal, the type of appeal bucknor normally gives out when he has made a mistake and realises it later to compensate the wrongged bowler. So clearly steve has not looked at the replay screen yet.
