Calm down... I wasn`t complaining. Sore winner if ever there was one. A smaller ground would`ve advantaged the Kiwis though, for sure.

Good win, Aussie bowling attack not good enough, White and Johnson are hopeless. Lewis seems to have bowled poorly also. Well done to Clark and Bracken.

Wow, what a match. Well done, Kiwis - made Australia pay for bowling an A-team. Hopefully we'll have one of our 5 best bowlers in the side next time.
Gone sour?

Good on the Kiwis, especially Vettori as he bowled beautifully and must be sick and tired of seeing his efforts wasted.

One has to ask how Mick Lewis ever got to play for Aus (or even got near a contract) - he is extremely ordinary as virtually anyone that watches the game in Aus could tell you.

Vettori's logic sux IMO. He said at the toss that the team likes to chase. We haven't chased down a score in this series and the Aussies bowling is clearly weaker than their batting so why let them gain an advantage by performing their stronger discipline first. It puts our batsman on the back foot and even though the Aussie bowling attack is useless we leave ourselves a huge mountain to climb.

If we had have batted first, scored 280+ then Aussie might make mistakes and lose their heads chasing like they did when we beat them in th VB series a couple of years back.
I suppose you are enjoying your pack of Icelandic Humble Pie? Well you should be since NZ won.

What a comeback, and after the heartbreak of Wellington, they could have taken the series. Stuart Clark looks rubbish.

Well i don't think that the ground got smaller between innings, Australia and New Zealand had the same sized ground each and New Zealand probably had a greater desire than Australia to win.

At a comparable stage in his career, KP was proclaimed a superstar by all and sundry. Hussey's record now makes his look positively shameful. :D
You really don't like KP do you? :D

No, the Australians are bigger hitters than the Kiwis, and hence most likely many of the Kiwi shots wouldn`t have gone all the way.

Great hitting by McCullum, and Vincent, even if he should have been caught behind. Can`t wait until we have our frontline bowlers back, we really paid the price for an extremely inexperienced attack.

Well done NZ, but Australia's bowling let them down. With the ball, Johnson looked out of his depth as did Cam White.

So its called having the skill to work with what you got. I don't recall seeing any of the Australians smashing the ball close to out of the ground like Oram did. :p

Aus should play attacks like that more often as meaningless series like this (no disrepespect to the Kiwis but it's hardly the Bledisloe Cup) are good ways to give new players experience.

Look at what has been confirmed this series.

Clark - looks the goods and has been called up to the test side

Bracken - swinging the ball

Lewis - ordinary and should be discarded

Johnson - raw but has pace, movement and potential

White - impossible to judge based on one performance in wet conditions but obviously needs to spin the ball more at this level

No-one likes to lose a match but the Aus selectors will have got something out of it even if they made a monumental stuff-up by forcing Gilly to play in matches in which he had no interest.

Wasn't Lewis a hero one match ago?

Yeah I am loving it to be honest. I still think we should have batted first though.

Yeah Stuart Clark is nothing special. His figures are better than he bowled.

From what I have seen (very little) Cameron White is one of the worst players I have seen play for Aus. Might have just had an off day but his bowling was dreadful.

Sour about What? We beat you 2-1 :D :D

Woohoo, you won a dead rubber. Though great effort by the Kiwi's anyway, but Clown has a point, but i don't no why Harvey's in that list.
