Why do people have this impression that Boult was a 150 plus express speedster? He never was. He made his name picking up wickets at 130-135, the occasional 138-140.

Nothing wrong with using him as your strike bowler with Southee out. You've still got Milne attacking from one end, and then when he's done you can use Henry again for a couple to make the breakthrough if it hasn't been secured.

Reckon McCullum likes to be able to attack from one end for most of the innings, whereas most captains attack for 10-14 overs from one end at the beginning of the innings, and restrict for the rest of the time from both ends.

It's their best fit attack. Starc is injured and would be in for Richardson but aside from that this is it.
Wow. I've been watching Boland and Tye spudding it up and can't fathom how there aren't better options available, really. Richardson doesn't seem vastly better than them.
