**Official** Australia in India Thread

That should answer the cynics who claim that Gilchrist only walks when his team can afford him to be out.

Australia have lost 6-99 since lunch now.

And no, no hawkeye for Fox Sports viewers.

Open ur eyes WIDE and watch the replay, umpires agree, comm agree...would have clipped leg stump
I still don't agree. The ball didn't straighten enough and would have comfortably missed legstump. Its a shame they don't have hawkeye in this series.

p.s. I'm not angry about an Australian getting out - I'm worried out the continued poor standard of umpiring in this series. The Indians got some very poor decisions in the first test including both openers in the second innings. It cost Chopra his place and maybe his career.

Gilchrist out for 3 - Australia 6/210 and in trouble.

Never heard that b4 but didn't he walk in WC 04 Semi's, I guess that proves his honesty

Question to FOX SPORTS Viewers, it seems we are getting the same feed...but still, are you getting hawk-eye
No we aren't getting hawkeye. Makes a difference when you introduce new technology and then they take it away.

..seems Ten Sports who is proving the feed didn't license the Hawk-eye Software this time

God I love Gilly, he's such an honest cricketer, and a great guy. I saw him on the news playing with the young Indian kids in the slums, it's just great to see. :)

Oh and GOOD ON YA KUMBLE! What a fight back by India! The commentators were saying only Harbhajan was going to bowl Australia out, but we have two champion spinners in this team, never forget Kumble.

Kumble wasn't playing in 2001, so this twin spin attack makes a lotta difference

Abt Gilly, what can you say...Actually when was the last time we saw a sub-continent player walk

Whoever said that (I've never heard it) is an idiot.
World Cup semi-final proves that theory wrong.

Warne out now, and it looks like Australia is going to be knocked over for something in the area of 250. Pressure is going to be right on the Australian bowlers now, first with the bat and then to back up their first test performance with the ball.

EXACTLY!
In 2001, Harbhajan had 34 (or something like that) wickets, next best was Zaheer with 3. Now we have two great spinners bowling, and maybe Pathan can get in on it at some stage.

Things are looking good, I don't want to get too excited but I can't help it.

...exactly, India is yet to bat...also same pattern with starts and collapse...amazing really

Pitch now looks as if it has curry powder

Somewhat similar to 2001, great start and then collapse
Actually India collapsed first in the second match. ;)

Maybe it will be India's turn to have a colossal stuff up.
