I made excuses for him earlier this year in Australia, because I thought "Alright, he's young, he can bat, he should improve his keeping by the Aussie series with some tough work in the next year". Even Healy as commentator agreed that they should persist with him.

Now, 10 months later, we have a big problem.

I just started watching...did he drop any today?

Why are the fields so defensive? Just two or three fielders are placed in catching position.

Not to mention the Indians play far too much as a one-bowler team.

He hasn't dropped any edges, but he's kept absolutely poorly. Dropping, thumbling, he's just been crap to be blunt. Really really crap.

He always was, right from the Test series last year against New Zealand.
