Another century partnership for Langer and Hayden, and a 50 for each of them. This is getting away from India pretty quickly.
Even so, it is pretty obvious when both teams are just standing there, not moving of doing anything. Even if Keith Miller isn't that well known, he should get the respect he deserved.Sehwag309 said:I dont think many people even knew and the broadcasting had audio problems at the start (no sound from pitch) or very low..so that may have been the problem
If you remember, Don Bradman had passed away when Australia toured India last time and there were exact same scenes, and the crowd joined in. Moresoever, everyone knew Don, but IMO many didn't know Keith Miller
For the sake of the match I hope your other predictions don't come true.JustTool said:Told ya. 500+ at 4+/over. Wait till Yuvraj bats for my other predictions to come true

I think dropping Chopra, after his huge gutsy performance in Australia, or rather, just doubting him, has destroyed his confidence. Yuvraj has failed miserably many many times with awful defensive technique. And Zaheer, well - it's there for everyone to see. Is Karthik (the other budding wk) any good ? We'll never know because Ganguly will never drop Parthiv until he has dropped a 100 catches - which should happen by the end of the series.Deja moo said:For the sake of Indian cricket , I hope the other prediction comes true . Better that Yuvraj fails again and is dropped for a long time than him scoring a century now and then taking it easy for the next twenty tests .
I dont see why the BCCI drama should affect the players at all , and I dont think it is . As for Tendulkars elbow, isnt it just the media which is obsessing over it ? He isnt doing anything wrong. His being with the team allows him to train with the physio .JustTool said:I have followed Indian cricket for a long long time and the only way player perform in India is if they are Gavaskar, Kapil-Dev or their place is constantly under threat. Personally all this drama around Tendulkar's injury is quite pathetic. The guy should stay at home till he can practise and recover. The BCCI is in shambles.....
I am with you on this 110% - another Ganguly tactical blunder. Worse than picking Mr. Macho-Superhero-I-only-date-movie-stars-Yuvraj-but-never-make-runs-but-always-hang-my-bat-out-SinghJono said:Is anyone really surprised at Zaheer's poor performance once again? I sure am not.
AA should just run on the field and bowl and be the super hero for India.
I do see your point....however...surely with his money he can afford to hire his own physio for a couple of months and avoid distracting the team with the stupid media doting on him.Deja moo said:I dont see why the BCCI drama should affect the players at all , and I dont think it is . Mr Casson said:I've just come home from school and I'm watching the first session highlights... What is with all the appeals for LBW with balls that move across the batsman and hit outside the line?
I suppose in real-time they do look a lot closer than they actually are. However, part of the reason that there was an appeal for LBW given out despite an edge had a little bit to do with the crowd noise, whereas these appeals didn't.Mister Wright said:Because they are close. The same could be said about McGrath's appealing when the batsman has obviously hit the ball onto his pad.
