Oh, and did I say that I would love to be Yuvraj Singh right about now? Living off of glory of a few matches with compromising pictures of the captain safely hidden in a mysterious spot. Financial freedom without doing any work whatsoever...stuff dreams are made of.

It would take a miracle for India to get the Aussies under 500. And a bigger one to win this match. I'm disheartened :(
Depressing it is...I think what's more depressing is Ganguly's refusal to try anyone else in place of Yuvraj, Zaheer (when he is fit) or Parthiv. Even it means promoting the 'bat-hanging-outside-the-off-stump' Yuvraj to opener to accomodate him.

Ricky Ponting is ou... yeah, what he said. :P

This should delay the Lehmann call for a while longer, and show if his form will pick up in the next two tests or not.

Ricky Ponting is out of the third test. Possibly available for the 4th test.
Too bad for voyeurs of exquisite batting. At the way things are going, half the Aussie team could phone-in their participation, and India would still lose. :@

OK. The entire match rests on the turn and bounce Bhajji and Kumble can extract....let's see. Watch closely. Sit very near your TVs and peer in.... :)

Things are looking really good for Australia here. In Bangalore the first morning was a real fight, with every batsman looking uncomfortable until Katich and Clarke came together, and 70 runs in the first session seeming a decent run rate.

Hayden and Langer are looking comfortable here, and it's only 14 overs in and already they are close to the lunchtime score from the last test without losing a wicket. India need to get one soon.

Now Zaheer has gone from 14 in 2 overs to giving 14 in 1 over. If he bowls to Yuvraj then they both can be the players Ganguly thinks they are... :) :p :D

Oh sure, but the way he came down the track and lofted it, just too good!
Well IMO Hayden is far too good for Harbajhan. He has been the only batsman to completely dominate him consistently. Of course he's got him cheaply sometimes, but that does happen occasionally.

Probably now saying that he'll get out to him soon.

Is it just me or was anybody else upset at the Indian crowd's lack of respect to Keith Miller in not respecting the minute of silence?

I dont think many people even knew and the broadcasting had audio problems at the start (no sound from pitch) or very low..so that may have been the problem

If you remember, Don Bradman had passed away when Australia toured India last time and there were exact same scenes, and the crowd joined in. Moresoever, everyone knew Don, but IMO many didn't know Keith Miller
