He was given more chances than Lee, but the selectors may have been feeling more generous when his place was questioned.
Don't expect Mr Wright to disagree with that! What are you trying to say? It just comes across a bit vaguely.

Yeh, but he seems more concerned about Australias future than his future.
AUS is the last team with its future in jeapordy, he may sound patriotic, but I feel hes being rather stupid. Clarke has talent and he will find his way into the team any how. From what I saw of Lehman his heart doesnt seem to be all there in the game, thats just me though.

But Lee had proved himself as one of the worlds fastest bowlers. .
Other than that what else does that prove...?

There are no prizes in the game for fastest ball (which might still be played for four or more) or the most powerfull hit which may still result in a catch.

I don't know.
He has also picked up quite a few wickets and has helped Australia on quite a few occasions. He must have been accurate to get wickets?

When was the last time Hodge batted at 3? And I don't think they were after a replacement number 3, Katich is there.

Yeh, but I do think that I remember Hodge coming in at no.3 for Victoria against NSW.
I remember Justin Langer coming in at 3 against Pakistan... Hasn't happened recently, won't happen soon. So what?

Langer was a number 3 batsman for the first 7 or 8 years of his career, so dont discount that....

I know, but he won't be number 3 anytime soon, right? That's pretty much what I was saying (in a roundabout sort of way, I know hehe)

But Ganguly put an end to speculation about the second seamer's slot, saying, "If two pacers play, then Zaheer would play."

God damn. I hope Zaheer does something because he looked absolutely useless in teh first test. Didn't look like he was going to pick up a wicket at all. 1 for 105 is not very encouraging, and I hope he does a lot better in the 2nd test.

Kaif coming into the side is a great move, Yuvraj opening and Chopra being dropped, well I don't know about that. I don't have too much confidence in Yuvraj right now, hopefully he can prove me wrong.
