Dasa, I was mostly talking about atmospheric and environmental conditions that are different for each ground and the time of day etc (I don't think HawkEye takes those into account).
I'm not exactly sure how HawkEye works so I can't really answer that. HawkEye's own site has very little information. However, Channel 4's HawkEye site seems to explain it well.

I think what we need is some more extensive trials. Perhaps in some of those largely meaningless ODI tournaments the ICC could trial the use of HawkEye in every LBW appeal. It'd be a much more useful innovation than having the third umpire calling no-balls as they did in the Champions Trophy.

Glad to see Virender Sehwag smiling after watching the footage of Billy Bowden this match. Obviously no residual animosity, and good character shown by Sehwag. :)
Ya, got the Tendulkar effect who was sitting next to him, ..probably telling him...I have got worse mate, its all part of the game

There is no doubt that the Australians have played better and deserve to win (unless one of the Indian batsmen can change this game).

You make a fair point when you say "keep the game natural", but if you say that then does that mean you are against the use of video in stumping/run outs? You can't make a claim for both cases.

Currently, there is the potential for the following scenario:
Team A's best batsman is given run out by video, in a close run out call. In the same game, Team B's best batsman is given not out to a ball that he nicked, but the umpire didn't believe he nicked. How unfair would that be?

It's only a game, after all. And ONE Test at that :) I do believe that Bowden has the best and most empathetic attitude towards players. Now, Bucknor that's a different story (sorry, had to bring it up...) :)

John Wright has a lot of work on his hands....and how well he has done it can only be told when the Indians play the next match.

One of the ocmmentators mentioned that the Indian team has a terrible record in Bangalore, probably because of the colder temperature.

Hopefully the Indians will field the same bowling lineup in the next match, and give more overs to Sehwag.

By the way, do you think Venkatesh Prasad must return?

I am very disappointed by the fact that the Australians went up to appeal for Sehwag's wicket in that manner.

And I am Australian.

OK, but would you be comfortable with the scenario I posted above where your team loses its best batsman due to the use of video + audio, and the opposition team has their best batsman given not out, due to the lack of use of video + audio? (in a case such as a World Cup Final?) I know I certainly wouldn't.

Why do these journalists and experts think the Indian team plays best against the Australians? If this is their best, they're awful!

The possibility gould be is that they did not notice it either.

You can never tell, if Bowden didn't see it, they may not have either.

Dear Isuru ,
Hope you are fine . Any ways , What I think is that timely boils usually come in the hearts whn some thing happens to the self . I am wondering what if it had happened to any other team . I would have been watching nothing in or against the umpiring ... Could happen to any one and lets keep it natural ..

TV and LBWs...

Well, even six months after India in Australia, people can't agree which decisions were right and which were wrong - so it's not like it's going to solve that much.

Who would Indian fans blame then, anyway?
