You'll have to excuse yourself, because that makes absolutely no sense.

I don't mean I disagree, I mean that really makes no sense. What's your point?

Mr Casson, I understand your point, but I dislike your insults.
And on the match, sure the Indian batting hasn't been good at all, but no one can say that the standard of umpiring has not had an undesirable effect. Now I'd like to hear a good reason for not using the technology that could be available.

Who do I support ?

India (when they are winning). Australia (when India is not playing). None of the other teams have as much color, pizzaz or crowd pull as these two. Too bad that Indian batsmen have become a bunch of over-paid, over-rated, over-hyped 'stars'. Oh, for the days of Gavaskar and Sandeep Patil batting without a helmet facing Lillee and Thommo...

I haven't insulted anyone! Mind you I've had needless ones directed at me. I even found out that I've been unemployed my whole life.

A reason for not using the technology? It destroys the human element.

Think about it like a legal case. A judge makes a decision because they understand the situation best of all, and they have the power of reasoning and cognitive thinking. Would you like to be sent to court to deal with a robot that is actually limited in its decision-making process?

Computers are only as good as humans program them. And if you doubt that humans themselves have faults, then you haven't a leg to stand on with the umpiring comments. :)

Apologies to anyone who took anything I said personally...
