I dont think it was complete disent, it was more due to pressure and he was shocked at the decision...I dont think he should and will get fined
Having seen it again, I think Sehwag might get away with it. I think Bowden asked him if he hit it, and as best as I can lip-read, Sehwag answered "that was a big one." Mind you, he still did not look happy at all.

This is the problem. You can fine players for showing any dissent (even shaking their heads) at an obviously unforgivable error by an umpire BUT there is no penalty for screwed up umpiring or continued errors. And, listening to some on the Board, that's OK but technology should never be used. Does this make any sense at all ? :@
So you don't call losing your job for incompetency a penalty?

Geez... I'll take your job, then.

So, what did the umpire do to cause the runout?

India are playing like schoolgirls. Just admit that flaying the umpires is a cover-up and hope for better in the next test.

Remember: Assumptions are the mother of all f*ck-ups. :)

When was the last time an Indian batsman got hit on the pad, there was an appeal and Bucknor didn't raise his finger ?

Answer: Never.
Do you actually want an answer to that or is it another illogical rant which makes no sense from an Indian who wants to put the blame on everybody apart from their **** poor team who are so far out of their league it isn't funny?

India 3 down already...this is turning into a massacre
Yeah, and the runout just proves India's disunity and the disarray they are in. They aren't playing like professionals, and they're getting their just desserts for it.

Anyone against technology please speak up to show that you are a complete moron. India being beaten by terrible umpiring yet again !
Sorry, but I couldn't resist.... ;)

Billy Bowden says no to more technology
[AP ]

WELLINGTON, Sep 28: Five-day Tests would be a thing of the past if cricket made greater use of technology to rule on dismissals, New Zealand umpire Brett (Billy) Bowden said Tuesday.

Bowden said increased use of video replays and third umpires to judge lbws (leg before wicket decisions) and catches behind would destroy one of cricket's central principles - that batsmen should always have the benefit of the doubt.

"For lbws for example, what good is technology?" Bowden said, citing a sophisticated video replay system called Hawkeye.

Well, it's obvious that it was an exaggeration of how badly India are playing. So it's actually a bit of a compliment to schoolgirls that they can almost compete with Australia! :)
