His test batting average is now 151. Although one has to wonder whether he will score a 50 in the second innings if required to do so
:D :D :D

I think I'm going to remember that innings for a looooong time. Not only was it all quality; it was perfectly paced. Accelerated at the right times, without ever losing his head.

As for the 'plumb' LBW... It may or may not have been too high (probably not), but either way, 92 runs is a long way to go to get a chance.

Surely there are selection dilemmas now? I know the understanding was that he would be brought into the side as a fill-in until Ricky Ponting returned, but after 151, perhaps some of the other players might be feeling the squeeze again.

Anyway, I'm going to forget anything I ever said about the selectors. They timed Clarke's entry perfectly. It was sure as hell worth the wait to witness that.

The headline of " Gilchrist prepares for patient approach" does not apply to him IMO, he ended on 104 off 109 deliveries in a test match is pretty impressive.

Its down to Lehmann and Martyn one would think.

The umpiring again has been absolutely shocking from Bucknor and Bowden. I don't usually believe those theories that Bucknor has something against the Indians, but sometimes these matches make you wonder.

Grr it's been a while since I've actually been angry at umpiring decisions. Most mistakes are just that, mistakes, but something is really wrong here.

Beautiful ball from McGrath to dismiss Dravid though.

0.4 McGrath to Chopra, OUT: got'm! good length delivery, pitched
outside the off stump and moving in, Chopra offers no shot and the
ball hits the pad plumb in front of the stumps, loud appeal and
the finger goes up, McGrath strikes early

Have a problem accepting the umpires decision do we.

Like I said earlier when the ball is gong to hit the stumps its out, just like the Chopra one.

the icc should see the trend.

India has lost the series

we all know that the first few days set the trend for the series

i heard ppl complaining about indians cheating

When u watch Bucknor umpiring matches with aussies its hard to see no bribes being placed

or if just a mistake how many mistakes can a team copp

How many times can you be wrong. All umpires make mistakes and sometimes even the supporters get it wrong. India dont get any more bad decisions than any other team its just their supporters are more willing to complain loudly and excessively.

That Chopra dismissal was absolutely 100% out, and I cannot see how anyone could think it wasn't. It hit him outside the line yes, but as he was not offering a shot that doesn't matter. If you are not offering a shot and the ball is going to hit the stumps (which it absolutely was) it is out.

The Clarke decision was made by Bowden, not Bucknor, and it was a pretty close call that probably should have been given out, but it wasn't anywhere near as certain as the Chopra one.

And obiviously i have to vent my anger on the umpire sorry i have no one to turn to (because i cant turn against my race heck maybe i should)

All bets on india losing the series 3-1 (yes im over reacting but thats me)
