All I can say is, how could they take Khan out of the attack after 2 overs with the extra of a wicket?

Is Katich a contender for Man of the Series?

He has knocked handy runs like Martyn and Clarke?

He has played some handy innings, but has not had as big of an impact as Martyn, Clarke & Gillespie.

It certaintly is a spinner's pitch.

If Clarke can do well against the Indians being a part-timer, the Indian spinners will and can be lethal.

If Clarke performs now, he may edge ahead of Martyn. If he gets out cheaply, the decision will be harder.

It should be said that this test acts as an advertisement for those people who only think batting wickets are "good", this is truly magnificent test cricket.

I don't think every pitch should be a crumbling minefield, but a balance should be found between this and the 4-600 declared drivel we've been seeing a great deal lately, particularly in the recent Indian tours of Australia and Pakistan, and the New Zealand tour of India.

I don't think this pitch is a good advertisement for cricket at all, and I wouldn't call it a magnificent test. I like pitches that offer the bowlers a little bit on the first morning, and then offers the bowlers something late in the match. I like both teams to be around 350ish in the first innings (give or take a few runs). That sets up the second innings for both teams, if they are good enough.

1st innings scores of 104 and 205 is not good enough for test cricket.

You really think that a test that is over in a little over 2 days play is good?
