I was being sarcastic. :) Having said that let's not get carried away by Australia's depth and talent issue - they are still playing the match and India held the 1st innings lead. :)
You'd be lying if you said you were very confident of an Indian win at the moment.

perhaps you might wanna consider dropping incapable players like yuvraj and zaheer khan first?
Should drop Yuvraj, Zaheer, VVS and Parthiv. Too bad Ganguly has to be kept... :@

Actually, I am pretty confident that the Advantage is with Australia - I posted that when they were 186/4
But you said don't get carried away with Australia's depth and talent. Look what they are pulling out right now; I think it's reason to get a little bit carried away.

I am so angry with that stumping. Patel had a year to get the ball, and what's worse he missed the bail :-/

Good God they've thrown away a perfect opportunity.

It's November, 2017, in Chennai. You're playing your first Test for your country. The series is tied at 1-1, and your team is chasing 268 to win the Test and clinch the series. It's 266-9, and you're on strike, with a complete non-batsman (think me) at the other end. The opposition's top quick runs in with the new ball, and you gets the finest of edges through to Parthiv Patel who hangs on (okay, I know I'm stretching this now, but keep reading). The whole stadium goes up, but the deafening noise means that umpire Kirsten can't hear anything. Do you walk?
is that gary or peter?

Ok. If it makes you happy. :) They went from 136/2 or something to 235 all out.

Chopra would be better than Parthiv behind the stumps and he is better than Ganguly and Yuvraj in front of the stumps. That's why he is not in the team
what i fail to understand is how anyone can actually show no improvement whatsoever with the gloves in a 2 year period at the intl level?(you can argue that hes gotten worse but thats a different story)
hes still making the same mistakes behind the stumps that he was 2 years ago.

Things are looking very bright and sunny for Australia at the moment, and the doom and gloom is starting to appear for India. A lead of 110 runs right now, with Darren Lehmann and Michael Clarke to come looks like a horrendous proposition for an out of form Indian batting lineup.

India's worked so hard and have been the better team for 3 out of 4 days of this test match, but sadly for us, the match is starting to slip away.

Good nite everyone. Wake me up after Australia declares 30 minutes before tea and India are 0/1 with Yuvraj gone in McGrath's first over (unless Australia drop him) Look, my predictions can't be right if the Aussies don't hold on to the catches).

I'd hate to be Dinesh Karthik right now, he's clearly the best technical gloveman in India besides Nayan Mongia at the moment. He's a solid FC batsman as well, he must be annoyed as hell that he's having to sit out in place of an incompetent Parthiv Patel.

2. Bring him back into the side as a replace ment for Yuvraj who is a no-hoper as a batsman.

3. Yuvraj should play in the team as the third spinner. After all he is tall, well built and a left hander to boot !!! I remember somone gave that as a logic to keep him as a batsman. I think it is as good if not a better logic since he will be a LEFT ARM spinner :p
err theres something that just doesnt make sense there.

I think I will make a damn good Indian selector. What do you guys think ??
i dont know, anyone that would rest one of their better batsmen, and their best batsman against that opposition, after a couple of poor innings in the middle of the most important test series of the year must seriously consider getting his brain tested first.

what is the deal with only giving Sehwag one over, he is a good bowler and sometimes underrated bowler who could snare one of these two. I would have continued with him after the lunch interval, which i assume was when he bowled his only over.

Forget it tooextracool (or whatsoever your name is) . I am no Richard and have ni\o interest whatsoever in getting into a pointless , tedious, stupid, boring, debate with the likes of you.

Reply to this one anyway you want and keep doing till you run out of patience.

We all love you for it as you very well know. :D :D :D

strong possibility at the rate they are going, especially with Gillespie in this type of form. not sure what the run rate would be at the 100 over mark though

up to you, personally i think any cricket expert would be more than interested in most of the 'intellectual' arguments that richard and i have had. of course if you sense the need for entertainment in most of my posts then im afraid you will continue to be disappointed.
