Read somewhere that he'll be fit for the all important champs trophy. Won't be counting on itHow long is he meant to be out for this time? Seven months last time for a stress fracture in the same foot sounds worrying.
In fairness to him, he's been really good recently.
Better angle for looking at DRS decisions. What was an Australian official doing in the Indian dressing room? Is this regular?
It is all rather silly really. Why do people get all worked up by the news?
This.I'd rather have a green seaming pitch with no spin that suits Australia 100% rather than having a batting friendly pitch. I'm so freaking tired of watching sessions where the biggest mystery is when the team will declare or what the strike rate of the next centurion will be. I prefer matches where there could be a wicket every delivery. If you don't like this type of wicket, fine. But please no batter friendly ones.
It's the Telegraph ffsYou know on second thought, hb's not wrong here at all. The article never actually mentions "indian team" or "kohli" when actually quoting the curator. In fact, both those telegraph articles read like something written by an angry child. Fmd look at some of those excerpts:
I mean, it reads like a parody. This is so ****ing over the top. Also, the video in question is positive tame, btw
This is what they should do but wontGet in Henriques AND Faulkner and hedge your bets stacking your batting. The bowlers, or at least the seamers, are only there to give a break to the spinners anyways, esp. in Ranchi. Use Haze in short sharp bursts, get Henriques and Faulkner in the side to bowl dry when the spinners tire and you have decent batters all the way to #9 too.
They should just leave pitch preparations to natureIts so damn obvious that Ranchi would have 2-3 different pitches ready given the situation of the series after the 1st Test and the subsequent possible scenarios..
There thinking would've been 'if India lose the 2nd Test as well, they are going to need to win the last two just to save the series..so 1 pitch has to be lottery bunsen..'
'If India happen to win the 2nd game.. maybe they'd want a flat pitch or perhaps they notice they have an advantage on low and slow pitches so maybe they'd like that'.. etc
Hence the different pitches available!
Home advantage is okay when we have it.What's wrong with letting the home side pick what pitch they want?
It's home advantage for a reason
The funny thing about these jingoism fuelled articles is the moral outrage expressed at incidents that Australian players themselves have done over the past.Yeah, absolutely. Worst written article I have read in ages.
Bit unfair to compare what players say to what journalists say and then criticize the players. The funny thing about these jingoism fuelled articles is the moral outrage expressed at incidents that Australian players themselves have done over the past.
Kohli hit an Australian official
Warner hit Root
Broad nicked and doesn't walk. He becomes Stuart Fraud.
Langer, Smith, Ponting (list continues) nicked and doesn't walk.
"Look all I'm saying is, it's okay when when we do it"
I don't think OS knows about the Telegraph tbf. It's the Telegraph ffs
Got a link?Gideon Haigh's bit in the paper this morning will stir the pot
He's all the richer for it too. Horrible rag.I don't think OS knows about the Telegraph tbf.
