Well most of them are drop ins, so...I think you don't understand that in Australia the pitches are not man made. They come down from the high heavens and are thus unsullied by human hands.
Should not be considered why exactly? If other options are better? Sure. Otherwise no. There's no point of waiting till either play a full season and take 50 wickets thats not happening. Those two are the closest it gets to Starc in terms of potential and this is a huge series and there isn't another for some time afterwards. Send them bothPatto and Cummins should not be considered IMO. Chad is the best credentialed replacement but I like the idea of Dorf to give some variety to Haze, Bird, Chad. Hohns will announce someone wierd like Stanlake given the Stoinis selection.
Patto still on the comeback trail and asked for some time iirc. Cummins just played his first shield game for 6 years. You don't rate Chad or Dorf?Should not be considered why exactly? Imagine that in an exhibition T20 matchI think the only was to solve the DRS issue is to have a green and red light attached to every seat in the stadium, along with buttons to press to light each one up. When there's an appeal, everyone at the ground has 30 seconds to choose whether or not a team should review (obviously green = yes; red = no). When the results come in, the players on the field have another 10 seconds to decide whether to accept the majority decision, phone a friend watching at home, or have one of the options taken away in a 50/50.
Just took 8 in his first Shield game for 6 years. Has played the shorter versions a bit but the workload of a test in India is a concern. Id rather have him fit and ready for the Ashes. Probably won't happen but we all need dreams.Imagine that in an exhibition T20 match
I don't follow Aussie domestic cricket, but isn't Cummins only JUST returning to first class cricket? it would be a big short term vs long term risk if they brought him in, and he gets injured again.
Eng just tried that and lost every time with Woakes, Stokes etcGet in Henriques AND Faulkner and hedge your bets stacking your batting. The bowlers, or at least the seamers, are only there to give a break to the spinners anyways, esp. in Ranchi. Use Haze in short sharp bursts, get Henriques and Faulkner in the side to bowl dry when the spinners tire and you have decent batters all the way to #9 too.
Yeah it's not a good idea at all imo. Stacked batting rarely means much in batting unfriendly/unfamiliar conditions. Other than Starc have a look how the 'can bat' guys have gone. Jadeja, Ashwin, MMarsh, Saha, Wade...KohliEng just tried that and lost every time with Woakes, Stokes etc

Wow, didn't think he was gone that long! I I thought he had been out for 2-3 years. These damn injuries! I hope to see at-least one match with Starc, Hazelwood, Cummins and Pattinson in the side.Just took 8 in his first Shield game for 6 years.
