*Official* Australia in England

We've favourites, but now being into my fourth decade as an Englishman I know better than to count any chickens.

Decent little knock by the skipper (aided, it must be said, by two free hits served up by McKay that allowed him to get his eye in, duly dispatched to the rope), shame he couldn't go on.

& Is there more of Dougeh than before or is that me? Bit of timber round the belly, IMHO. Rarely good news in seam up bowlers, weight gain.

Come on mods, this is getting v tiresome now. Step in, please. Some of us are here to discuss the current cricket match in a mature manner.

Hauritz was made for 50 over cricket.
Maybe, but not in the same way that, say, the horribly negative Peter Taylor was. Hauritz bowls good, attacking offspin and is a bit of a guilty pleasure for the purist to watch.

Not a slight on Hauritz in any other forms. But he is brilliant in the middle overs. One of the best going around.

Useful cricketer in any form, IMHO. Inclined to agree this is his format tho, yeah.

Ooo, pie from Watson first up. Morgan be bit disappointed he found the boundary rider.
You know you're in deep **** when you 1st and 2nd change bowlers are Hopes and Watson

At best, they should be sharing 10 as the fifth bowler with Smith

What has happened to Watson's bowling. I remember him bowling at 140kph since his last major injury. However, prior to the last IPL, he seemed to suddenly lose the ability to either bowl quickly or accurately - I do not recall it coinciding with any sort of major injury, either.

King Pietersen

International Captain
Collingwood is so horrible to watch when he's out of form. I'd rather watch Luke Wright and Tim Bresnan batting together than this.

He's a much better bowler in tests these days as he has slowed down and swings it about a bit but I think they're really just trying to nurse him through so he doesnt bowl that much
