More likely to call up Watson or Symonds and play MacGill and 6 bats incl Gilly.
I don't think there's much doubt about it really. England have been doing it since the first ODI of the NatWest series with Vikram Solanki. The problem is that as it's clearly against the rules Ponting should have pointed it out and done something about it before now. I've even seen John Buchanan mention it in an interview, without any discussion of what Australia was doing about it.Slow Love™ said:Although there's some suggestion that England have been rotating their fast bowlers off the field and leaving the subbie on. Not a good thing, if that's the case, and the umpires should get on top of this if it's genuinely occurring.
Err. Clarke had a back injury and wasn't even at the ground. That's a bit different from Harmison going off to put his feet up for 10 minutes, isn't it?scottcraze said:Whats Ponting grumbling about, last test Hodge was on all of Englands innings' bar two overs and Clarke batted twice. Anyway get in Flintoff! Bye bye Martin, Ponting will be happy now!
