Looked like it swung and hit the seam, a little bit fluky - Tresco played it like someone who'd just woken up.
That's a new one. How is late inswing at 90+ mph and movement off the seam taking a wicket a fluke? If he did it by accident, I'd love to know what you think he was trying to do...

Or what he has been doing fairly consistently since the first rain break...

He was obviously concentrating on swing, to get both together is a always a little lucky, btw you'll find that it was a little over 85mph that one.

I've thought so for a while, but Tony Greig just continues to prove that he has absolutely no idea, and just says anything. I mean, he just said that Kasprowicz in the last few years tends to bring the ball back in, by bowling in-swingers. Anyone, taking even a cursory look at the TV, could tell that he bowls off-cutters. No idea.

It's thrilling to see a guy I've liked so much in domestic cricket bowling the same way on debut. He certainly seems to be up to the occasion.

Incidentally, Gilchrist is now, I think, the fourth wicket keeper ever to get 300 test dismissals.

So do those people (you know who you are) who said we should play kaspa ahead of Tait have anything to say, huh ???
I know I said it. And I'm not reluctant to say that Tait's been bowling really well this spell - the one that got Tresco was a beauty. It's not a pi$$ing contest from where I'm standing.

I don't think Kasper's been bad though, no-balls aside. There's only three wickets gone in the match so far - so I'll reserve my judgement 'till I've seen a little more, I think. :)

Kaspers 2nd spell (i.e. since tait got tressssk) has been alot more impressive, no-ball number 10 for kasper.

It was interesting to note it only started swinging the moment we had cloud cover. For Hoggards sake i hope it stays overcast :)

Yea, I'd say the cloud cover is going to be a bigger factor than batting first. This is a totally different game to the morning session.

Well, there was actually some cloud cover very early on, but Lee and Kasprowicz got nothing, while Tait got one to go early in his first spell. And, when Tait got Tresco out, the sun was actually out. It's very odd, and I guess we won't know exactly what's happening until Lee bowls shortly, and we see if he gets it to move.
