Pietersen looking a little dodgy outside off-stump again.

Dammit, not the rain again! I thought we might just about get a full session here.

Well, there was actually some cloud cover very early on, but Lee and Kasprowicz got nothing, while Tait got one to go early in his first spell. And, when Tait got Tresco out, the sun was actually out. It's very odd, and I guess we won't know exactly what's happening until Lee bowls shortly, and we see if he gets it to move.
Placebo !

The main thing with a debutant that you want to see, is whether their good balls are good enough to get wickets at the highest level. With Tait, they are.

Kasper should have taken that one - he made it look harder than it was. I can't remember an Australian taking a C&B opportunity this series so far, and there seem to have been a few.

Refresh my memory, did you not want to leave him out ??

Kasper looks like he's gonna get Pietersen any minute.

LBW call just now hit outside the line, but lots of umpires will give it out when no shot's being played.

His concentration has not been decent all series, both in the field and while batting.
His catching has been excellent up until now, and he's made some good ground stops as well. He's the leading non-keeper catch taker in the series, with 7. He did drop this one, obviously, and I believe he missed a really sharp one off Warne at Old Trafford.
