someone needs to send a message to bell to hit out or get out, this isn''t a timeless test. Really dissapointed with England's play since lunch

Yep, Bell's Gillespie-when-batting rate of scoring needs to become a Gillespie-when-bowling rate of scoring.
I'm not sure of the logic myself - I hardly think that he would throw out the sheet-anchor if Vaughan was desperate for quick runs at this stage.

Impressive couples of overs from Gillespie here. Just as I say that Strauss creams his slower ball to the boundary. Still, nothing seriously wrong with the bowling right now, got one to really move last over.

Missed catch/stumping there, a bit tough but should've been taken. Wicketkeeping has been very poor on both sides this series.

Interesting euphemism from Slats: "a watchful Ian Bell". I know he's probably under a bit of pressure for his spot from some quarters, but he's been downright selfish up to now.

Still, two streaky fours off Warne now, perhaps he's opening up a bit.....

Gilchrist was superb in the first two tests in my opinion, especially in the second where he took some excellent catches and didn't give up a single bye. Just this test that's been down for him.

Not sure why people are whinging so much though. We are going at 3.9 an over and now we have an extremely solid platform for Freddie and KP to not have to worry.
