so lets say once the rain has gone and england can force the follow on....will the weather have affected their decision.

imo (pre rain) we should not make them follow on as we dont want to be batting last on this pitch.

Nah wont make a difference cause australia would have got past the mark pre rain and post rain

I'm actually sort of hoping that Australia gets knocked over fast and Vaughan enforces the follow-on, as it is Australia's best chance. Failing that, a century to Warne batting with Gillespie, followed by a quick 50 to Lee.

Yep... that would be nice.

Yep it would also mean the aussies would be close to 350 and not out of the match

that would be good, though i dont think Australia following on is their best chance i reckon if the tail can get Australia to 300 maximum England will lead by 144 & then lead by Warne who has have the world of assistance need to bowl England for 125-150 maximum & look to chase around 300.
