Well i spotted Freddy giving Giles a few sloppy ones today so i don't know what that makes him. Mind you considering his bird i don't know why he'd go for a bit of wrong-un!!

no guys you just dont get it....its the very subtle things that can tell you a guy's likelihood of turning.

Bad ball from Harmy??? Come again, that was great, i called it as well.
I thought it was nothing short of miraculous - the best slower ball I've ever seen him bowl (I think I've only seen him produce about 3)

it was superb imo...not that that counts for much amongst such cricket intelligencia...and what makes it a great bowl was its timeing.

Hang about - it would be the biggest EVER chase at Edgbaston
Yeah looks like I called that wrong. In fact I got a lot wrong today, and I'm happy to admit it.

Draw looking the most likely result here I feel.

Flintoff today was nothing short of inspiring. Win or lose (and England would have to implode entirely to come close to losing), he is surely the Man of the Match. Signs of Beefy-ness indeed!

If we lose I think Warne will have a pretty fair shout as MOTM! :p

you blatantly have no eye for these things.

pietersen is nowhere near gay....altho a certain mr. ponting has a little bit of *** feeling in him me thinks.

seriously....the gayest of the lot has to be michael vaughn, that nervous, sweatiness around other men.
Umm ok..... Would u happen to be batting for the other team? You know seeing as you seem to be the yardstick for the homosexuals in world cricket...

One day Simon Jones is going to take the edge consistently instead of beating the bat time after time after time, and he's going to get a massive haul - an 8 or 9-for, I really believe that, based on some of his fantastic stuff today. A bowler of huge potential, I was impressed with him at Lord's too in the second innings, one spell in particular.
not particularly surprising that both came with the old ball IMO. until harmo took the wicket of clarke i was wondering why jones didnt bowl a ball in the last 30 minutes, given that it was obviously reversing.

I didnt see any of today because i was watching hampshire at cheltnham but this is might be be the most important day of the whole series. England have had the inevitbable Aussie fightback but have come through it so so important

So he did what he thought was right - got outside the line of the stumps and tried like hell to cover outside and on off stump. The ball just about brushed his trousers on the way to hitting middle and leg, so he wasn't far off the mark.
notice that his front foot was miles away from the pitch of the ball, and that he moved his front foot towards the left instead of getting it far forward. it was a poor shot to a very good ball IMO. he looks to be a very shaky player against spin, which is not good for our winter tours of the sub continent.
